Flail mower VDA240
The VDA240 is a flail mower for rear three-point mounting, Cat. 2, on heavy tractors from 50 to 90 hp. The hydraulic side shift works off a double-acting ram, so you need a spool valve on the tractor. Hardened cast flails shred the cut material, while the heavy rear roller and overrun gearbox throw it out at speed and leave it lying loose and airy. Side skids set the cutting height and galvanised flaps at the front hold back stones.
The VDA240 flail mower has a working width of 230 cm and needs 60hp – 90hp. It weighs 510 kg.
