2. Overview
This website is deliberately kept lean: it sets no cookies, usesno analytics or tracking services and loads no third-party contentinto your browser. Fonts and images are served from our own server. We only process personal data if you send it to us through the enquiry form, by email or by phone — and to the technically necessary extent that any visit to a website involves (section 3).
3. Hosting and server logs
The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you open a page, the server automatically processes data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the page you visited before (referrer). This data is used to deliver the page, to keep it secure and to analyse faults; it is not merged with other data and is deleted regularly. To protect against bulk submissions, the server also limits the number of requests per sender for a short time in memory. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable operation).
The technical operation of the website (development, hosting, maintenance) is handled by mkul – Webdesign, Zwickau; the processing is carried out on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR. The connection to this website is TLS-encrypted throughout (https).
4. Enquiry form
You can use the enquiry form to ask about a machine, a transport job or a hire. We collect the details you enter: what your enquiry is about and the machine you are interested in, your name, phone number (required, so we can call you back), and optionally your email address, company, town or postcode (for deliveries or transport, so we can work out the cost), customer type, when you are best reached and your message.
The enquiry is stored on our server and also sent to us by email. We use the data solely to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for answering general enquiries. The data is kept until your enquiry has been dealt with in full; beyond that only where statutory retention periods (e.g. once a contract is concluded) require it.
We use the email delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc., San Francisco, USA) to send the enquiry email. The contents of the enquiry are transmitted to our business email address. The transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
5. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details in order to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for that purpose and no retention obligations apply.
6. Customer reviews
On our homepage we show public reviews from our Google Business Profile. Our server fetches this content from Google itself at regular intervals and delivers it as part of the page. This means that when you visit our website, no connection is made from your browser to Google, and no data about you is passed on to Google.
7. Links to other websites
Our pages link to third-party websites, for example manufacturer pages, spec sheets and our listings on kleinanzeigen.de. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on those sites; their privacy notices apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), and the rights to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR). Just get in touch using the contact details given in section 1 — no particular form is needed.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Saxon Commissioner for Data Protection and Transparency, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden,www.datenschutz.sachsen.de.
9. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the technology behind the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
