Flail mower VDA220
The VDA220 flail mower mounts on the rear three-point linkage, Cat. 2, and suits heavy tractors from 50 to 90 hp. The hydraulic side shift runs off a double-acting cylinder and needs a spool valve on the tractor. Hardened cast flails shred the cut material, while the heavy rear roller and overrun gearbox throw the mulch out at speed and spread it loosely; side skids set the cutting height and galvanised flaps at the front hold back stones.
The VDA220 flail mower has a working width of 219 cm and needs 50hp – 80hp. It weighs 480 kg.
