Flail mower VD170
The VD170 is a flail mower from WSM's VD series, built for heavy-duty tractors up to 80 hp. You can mount it either way round, on the front or rear three-point linkage in categories I and II; the hydraulic side shift needs one spool valve on the tractor. Hardened cast flails, 14 cm wide and weighing 1.7 kg, shred even tall, bushy or strawy material so it rots down quickly. An overrun gearbox, heavy rear roller, flap guard against stone throw and a clean-out door at the rear round off the specification.
The VD170 flail mower has a working width of 169 cm and needs 40 hp – 70 hp. It weighs 480 kg.
